Vero Beach question

So we are heading down to Disney again next month :yay: and we have 2 days free from the parks. We want to take a look at the Vero beach resort to see if it's something we would like to try for November 2015. Can you drive in and check it out like the other disney hotels (including Hilton Head) or is it only for people staying at the resort? We don't want to drive all the way down there just to have to turn around :blush:

We were there two years ago and really enjoyed Vero.

I would give them a call and ask them about visiting. We have family members who live in Florida, and they were supposed to visit us while we were there. I just called the resort and explained that we were planning on having family visit for the day and they were fine with it. They were only concerned about taking up a lot of space at the pool/chairs because it was Spring Break and the resort was full to capacity.

We were there last year at spring break and our friends that live near there had no problem walking right in. They go a few times a year just to eat at the resturant and shop. When they met us they even went swimming with us with no issues. We went for one night like you just to check it out and liked it so much that we are going for a few nights this time in June.
