The mugs are finally arriving in Disney Starbucks stores in late January.

Available Starbucks mugs include:

Magic Kingdom
Epcot
Disney's Hollywood Studios
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Disneyland
California Adventure

You will not be able to purchase all the mugs in any given Starbucks store. .. each mug is only available in it's respective park.

Also available will be 24 oz acrylic tumblers hot and cold, featuring the co-branding of Starbucks and Disney. The 12 oz ceramic travel mugs will follow shortly after.

Enjoy!

I am not a collector of these "you are here mugs", but I would love to have this more as a set of parks mugs. Love that they are all of the same style. Might have to add this to my never ending shopping list for my next trip......whenever that might be.:mickey:

I think I'm happy they weren't out for our last trip in November.

My girls would have gone nuts!!! I would have owned two sets.

I will be investing in these on my next trip to Disneyland - hopefully they are still available and they do not run out.

I'm not a Starbucks person (not that I'll turn it down when I need caffeine!) but I LOVE those coffee mugs! I'm going to try to get the set next trip - whenever that may be. :mickey:

Do the smaller mugs say Starbucks on them?

The tumbler on the right is ceramic.

The You Are Here mugs do have Starbucks on them.

I see they are already pulling the EPCOT mug due to the use of a purple stripe on the monorail. This is a (painful for some) reminder of the 2009 monorail crash between monorail purple and monorail pink that caused the death of the pilot, 21-year-old Austin Wuennenberg.

Didn't anyone at Disney proof the patterns/colors to make sure something like this wouldn't happen? All they needed to do was to make the monorail the blue color rather than the purple and everything would have been just peachy.

I'm going to DW in April but I really wanted the MK and Disneyland mugs as a set so I bought them on Ebay for pretty much retail price Wednesday. I almost bought the Epcot one for about $30 but I decided to sleep on it. I went back today to go buy it and the price jumped from to $180-$3,000 per cup over night because they pulled it. The crazy thing is, people are actually paying it!

I love the cups but not that much!

I thought the same thing but then thought that maybe it wouldn't have been as obvious as one would think because the whole mug was purple not just the monorail so they probably thought purple seems reasonable for epcot but didn't explicitly think about the monorail. Nonetheless very unfortunate.

Looks like the EP mugs are already going for $200 to $300 on ebay. I guess the limited time made them more of a collectable.

Know I am late to this thread but decided to check out the mugs this morning. Going to make getting all 4 a goal for my next trip. Like the look and it's something I would use.
As for the people buying the purple mugs, really, have they nothing better to spend their money on?

When we were there 2 weeks ago there were none in DTD.

Hollywood Studios have mugs. I though it was said earlier that it was only the theme parks that would have mugs, meaning DTD would have them.

Yeah, she went on that search at my request. I was expecting a pretty quick turn around - but I guess it will take a while...

- Well, now that I look back on this thread, it has only been a month - apparently I am impatient.

We just returned and the only ceramic mugs were at MK. We were hoping for the HS one but they did not have any. :mickey:

So my quest for these mugs will happen on our September trip. To clarify, each mug for its respective park is only found in the Starbucks at each park, correct? So I should not spend time looking at The Emporium or Mousegears?
Also, I know where the Starbucks is in MK, but where are the others located in each park? We are not coffee drinkers so I have never paid attention!
Thanks!!!:mickey:

In Epcot it's on your right, just before Club Cool.

Thanks!

Yes, each mug for the respective park is only available at that park.

As of two days ago, the only in park mug available was Hollywood Studios. I checked at Epcot almost daily, and towards the end of the week they did get the ceramic Disney Parks mug back in stock, but still no "You Are Here."

As to the question on the Epcot mug, the initial ones were pulled because the monorail was purple, and that was the color of the monorail in the unfortunate accident a few years back. I guess that wasn't thought of when it was first made.

Got it! Sorry, I went back and read and somehow completely missed that. :D

Thanks again!

Does anyone know how much they cost in the parks?
Am I able to ship these to a friend like I can with other park merchandise?

Epcot mugs are back. DD returned from a competition in Orlando with an Epcot You are Here mug. Monorail is now all silver. Cost is $14.95 to answer the question up thread.

I just wanted to let everyone know you can get the Epcot, MK and DHS mugs now. AK isn't available yet, because the AK Starbucks isn't finished. I had asked if there was an alternate place to buy them right now, but the CM said no.

Yes, the mugs are available at the new Starbucks in AK, Creature Comforts.

Have a fun trip!
