Planning for First Week of May 2016

How early can we start our planning and/or booking for first week of May 2016?? Can you tell our family is a little anxious??

Rates for 2016 won't be announced for a while yet.

You can book "room only" reservations up to 499 days in advance. So today, that would be out to May 21, 2016, so you're covered there :thumbsup:

You'll have to call to book that, as the on-line system does not have the 2016 dates loaded, and won't until pricing is set. If you do call to book, they will book the reservation at the current (2015) rack rate, and you have to pay a deposit of one-night's lodging plus tax. Once the 2016 rates have been published, you will have to make up any difference (and there will be some) between the 2015 and 2016 rates. Also, at that time you'll be able to convert the room-only reservation to a package if you choose to do so.

If you do decide to do that (which would pretty much assure that you get the resort and room type you really want), I'd suggest contacting Magical Journeys (Karen is wonderful) and letting them deal with the details. They'll watch for deals and handle any re-booking that may be required along the way.

You can contact Magical Journeys now and they'll put you in their file for when 2016 rates are released, but, as Linda said, that's usually in the summer - July or early August. You can book a room only over a year in advance but that doesn't do you much good, but Magical Journeys can take good care o you and will let you know as soon as you can book if you go ahead and get them your info.
