Disney gift cards question

I do not know if this question is in the right spot, if not please move thank you.
My wife purchased a Disney gift card from walmart for a christmas present. The card is a $25.00 card. Can we go to walmart to add more money to this card and can it be reloaded there ?

Although I'm not 100% sure, I'm fairly certain that Disney Gift Cards can only be reloaded/have money added to them at Disney locations.

I've been told more than once by multiple CMs (i tend to check everytime we're there) that gift cards can only be reloaded at Disney owned locations on property and at the Disney Store. They cannot be reloaded via phone, on-line or at non-Disney retail locations.
