What is the difference between a photopass and a memory maker? I don't understand?

It is a bit confusing.

Memory Maker is essentially the renamed Photo Pass system. If you pre-purchase (and you must purchase three days ahead of time or any photos taken in the interim will not be part of the Memory Maker system), you will be able to edit and download all the photos you have taken by Photo Pass photographers and this will also include the photos taken on rides where ride photos are available

You can still purchase individual Photo Pass pictures by visiting any Photopass photographer.

You can purchase "Memory Maker", which gives you the downloads of all of the pictures you get taken, once you arrive at Disney, but it will cost more.

To get the pre-purchase rate, you have to purchase 3 days in advance.
