Magic Band Question

If you order a park pass on line; do you receive a magic band in the mail? And if you do; can you make FP reservations on line?

Magic Bands are mailed out to everyone with an on-site stay booked at Disney (for those living in the US anyways. Us international visitors have to pick them up when we check into the resort).

If you're staying off-site, you won't get a Magic Band sent before your trip, but you can purchase one once you arrive for your trip.

Either way though, if you've purchased tickets you can link them to your "My Disney Experience" account and book FP+ online.

For those on-site, you can start booking FP+ 60 days before your trip, and for those off-site, the booking FP+ window starts 30 days before your trip.
