Using Disney Store Merchandise Credit?

Just curious- can you use a Disney Store merchandise credit at WDW stores?

Can it be used for tickets?

I'm fairly certain it can not be used at WDW. I don't think the stores allowed them to be used on tickets either.

Not sure but maybe you could put it towards a gift card and then use that on property.

For loss prevention reasons, they used to be pretty strict about merchandise credits.

I'm also pretty sure the answer is no.

For example, Disney gift cards and DisneyStore gift cards are two entirely different things, and handled by two separate operating units.

Disney Gift cards CAN be used at DisneyStores,

BUT

DisneyStore gift cards explicitly state that they can ONLY be redeemed at the Disney Store.

I can't imagine they'd allow merchandise (store) credit to be used anywhere other than the Disney Store.
