Shades of green amenities

We are staying at SOG for a week in December. Do we need to bring anything? Are soap and shampoo provided? We have rented homes and condos but I am assuming SoG would be the same as any hotel rooms with towels and regular supplies.

Any suggestions of items to bring to make room more comfortable? We won't have a car but may make a grocery stop on way to resort. Is there a kitchen area or refrigerator?

Yes, SoG is like any other Disney hotel (or any hotel, for that matter.) All toiletries are provided.

There is a nice size refrigerator in the room. Keep in mind that the Exchange at the resort has many food/drink items, and they are reasonable prices, MUCH cheaper than what you could get at a Disney resort.

I love SoG. Rooms are huge and the ammenities are wonderful. We're staying there again in January for Marathon weekend. Can't wait!

While soap and shampoo are provided, the soap dispensers in the bath/shower area are not great...We've learned to bring our own favorite body wash and shampoo. Also usually bring our own coffee..There are coffee makers in rooms, but we didn't like their selection of coffee.
Drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and snacks at Exchange at SoG are priced competitively with local chain grocery stores.
