[The Hitchhiking Ghost]

When I read the details of the offer earlier this morning on the Disney site, my initial reaction was disappointment.:(

While obviously any discount is better than no discount, we are on the bubble this year as to whether or not we can go post Thanksgiving. The earlier released free dining excluded our dates (and resort) so I was hoping for a strong incentive when they eventually released the late fall discounts. Unfortunately this isn't what I hoped for.

20% is ok at the moderates, but the $400 I would save doesn't match up to what free dining would have been. And, our dates only qualify for a 25% deluxe discount, not 30%, which again makes it hard for us to pull the trigger. I've also have been hearing a lot of early grumblings on resort availability.

I know Wednesdays are her day off, so may have to email Kathy at MJ tomorrow to check on availability, just in case.

But not looking good for the Hitchhiking Ghost for 2014.

I'm here!!!!! Days off are null and void if there's a discount. I traded in my bikini for my headset (which has everyone at the local beaches VERY happy lol)

I am so thankful for this discount to finally be released being I have been patiently awaiting it. It was the last piece to our WDW November vacation to be booked minus dining and fastpass+.
