MK to Wilderness Lodge and back to MK

It's been several years since I stayed at Wilderness Lodge and we have dinner ADR's at WCC for our next trip. Is the boat still the best way to get from MK to WL and back? Or is a bus the way to go?

As long as there are no thunderstorms and the boats are running, the boat is the best way to go. Relaxing and a beautiful ride. Allow about 45 minutes to catch a boat and get there. If it is less, you have time to explore one of the prettiest resorts. We did this last year when we needed a break the night of MNSSHP. We had been at MK at 8am and didn't leave until midnight. We rested in the lobby after a late lunch. Fun restaurant - have a great time!

The boat is a nice ride if you have the time but we usually take the bus. It's less than a 10 minute ride and the buses run continuously so it's never a long wait to catch one.
