Fast Pass + Question

I have a question to those who are in Disney now or have just came back. Can you get any fast passes for the biggy attractions at the kiosks or are they already gone for the day.

When we were there about 3 weeks ago. The big attractions were very limited in fastpasses. we were lucky and got one for Everest. They do have a board at each kiosk that tells you what is still available for the day, and what is limited.
