We have one night at MK where we have no dinner plans (and no other reservations during the day). Thinking about standby for BoG dinner. Has anyone done this? Any thoughts on possibility of success?

Thanks,

Your chances of success are somewhere between slim and nil. It happens very rarely, most guests don't even make it to the check-in stand before it's obvious that there's no way.

So, it's reservations or nothing? Not too long ago, dining reservations only accounted for a certain percentage of space in the restaurants, and some spots were kept open for walk-up/stand-by guests. No more?

Thanks,

No more ... when possible, Disney will book all available spots for ADR's.

As with other places, if you head there just as dinner starts, there *may* be a chance, but BOG is still super-popular and generally packed.

It can't hurt to try, but don't have your heart set on it.

You could also check for ADR openings ... and then you'd know you have a spot., if it is important.
