I just wanted to thank everyone for being respectful of other people while discussing things they are passionate about. I wandered over to another board recently (which will remain nameless) and the amount of sass and attitude and downright rudeness was just astounding. I have been on this board for 15 years and I've never seen anything like that on here!

I appreciate that we can have discussions about things on here that we are passionate about without it getting personal.

Not only do I agree....but there is no place better to get your Disney fix....especially when there is no trip planned (saving to retire to Disney!!!!).

I agree totally! Everyone here seems very aware of people likes and dislikes and understands that everyone is different.

Over a decade ago when I was planning my first trip on my own, sans parents, now DH and I scoped out a lot of boards. Intercot became our Disney Internet home. There are some downright mean people out there who hide behind keyboards and say nasty things. From time to time things can get a bit testy on here, but the moderators do an excellent job in setting the tone and letting it be known that :flame::flame:behavior will not be tolerated. :thumbsup:

:ditto: I love coming on this website to get my Disney fix... I have learned so many cool things on here that I would have never paid attention to otherwise. Thanks to all the Intercot members for that.. Keep up the great job moderators and members. I have always liked it here. The fact that my picture is still used in the Disney Quest section really makes me glad I have stayed all these years.

From that first post I made all those years ago, "Hey! That's me!", things have changed. I don't have as much hair, apparently I am older but better looking than ever (obviously), some of the attractions at WDW have changed, but Intercot has remained the constant: helpful, informative and friendly.

We do have the best members and team of moderators here at iCOT. Any time someone asks me how to start planning and researching for a Disney vacation I tell them to use Intercot!

I totally agree!:number1: I just removed myself from another board because I commented on something and they just ripped me apart. Attacked my morals and was just downright rude. I couldn't believe it. I have been on Intercot for so many years now and everyone is so respectful of everyone else!
