I'm not sure I'm allowed to ask this on here, but I'm going to take my chances. We are considering renting out our DVC points for this year. Does anyone know of any reputable companies that do this? TIA!

I think the Timeshare Store will middleman the process. That's the only one allowed to be mentioned...

Timeshare store is great I have used them myself. They were able to rent all of my points when I only had about 3 months left to use them up and I thought I might have to eat my losses. If they can they will try to transfer the points which will get you more money. Best of all I didn't have to worry about who I was renting to. I don't think you can get much safer and they have been sponsoring intercot for years so you know they are not a fly-by-night company. Hope this helps :mickey:

I'm just curious. When renting dvc points, do they charge a certain $$ per point? If so, how much is that usually.

We went through The Timeshare Store, for additional points we needed, 2 years ago and at that time the cost was running $12 per point

I've used the Timeshare Store (see link on left) and I had a great experience with them.

The points owner gets $8 and the Timeshare store gets $4. The renter pays $12. Most renting on their own charge $10, but you take a chance either way of getting ripped off without using a go between. :mickey:

Was that for last minute points? $8 is very low IMO.

Update: I found their email and it is $8 for regular points, looks to be about $4 for last minute points.

Dave's charges $14 with the owner getting $11.

Apologies in advance if this post isn't allowed, I wasn't 100% sure.
