I don’t know. They haven’t been the same since their drummer died in that freak gardening accident.

I'd love to see Rick. I've liked him since GH.
Missed him both times he was at the casino here.

No kidding!! I love Rick Springfield! DH said, "Uh-oh... May have to take a quick drive down there to see him..." He knows I love Rick!! But... I can see him a lot closer to home, though. He tours a lot in the area. I saw him last year for my birthday, and he was awesome!!

Billy Ocean is fantastic! We saw him in Epcot in 2012. One of the best shows ever. We also saw .38 Special (amazing) and Kool & the Gang (also amazing). Bummer that we'll miss .38 Special this time.

Just waiting to see who TBD will be!

It's too bad that Rick Springfield won't be performing during Star Wars Weekends....have any of you guys seen the College Humor video about picking the next Cantina Band Star? He's on there as "Rick Forcefield". It's hilarious. Google it.

How long before the shows do you need to be in line? I'm interested in seeing a few of the shows while I'm there. I see there are three shows, is it easier to get into one of them over the others?

I see there are three shows, is it easier to get into one of them over the others?I don't think there is a solid answer to this question. It depends on lot's of things like day of the week, popularity of the band, how good of seats you want, number in your party...

ETA: Oh, and I think later shows are easier.

I've seen almost every one of these acts at epcot now. And I can honestly say- the best of them is Sugar Ray! GREAT show!!!

How does this effect the crowds at Epcot?

How does this effect the crowds at Epcot? The concerts themselves don't effect the crows at Epcot as a whole. The F&W festival does. The crowds at the American and surrounding pavilions might be less during the concerts and more right after.

Maybe we'll see you there. We live around the lake from you in Stoney Creek.

Please tell me how this works. We have never been for F&WF before. Do you have to have a hard ticket for Eat to the Beat and where is it located?

You do not have to have a hard ticket. It is included in admission. The concerts are located in the American Gardens Theater, which is in front of American Adventure in World Showcase.

They play two (or three?) sets a day approximatley 1 hour each set. Some of the acts do the same set each show some acts do a different set each time. Typically crowded but not insane. I have seen 4 shows and got a seat at all of them with about 10 minute wait.

Tip!-get your drinks in another country on your way to the show or be prepred to w..a..i..t.. in line. If you have to have a sam adams for the show give yourself a 15 minute window.

I was looking at the list today and see that Rick Springfield has been replaced by the Commodores. I'm so bummed!

Apparently Rick Springfield is quite in demand these days. I heard a couple of weeks ago that he cancelled his tour in Australia to make a movie with Meryl Streep, no less. I'm sure it's the same reason for bowing out of Eat to the Beat.
