How much to renew "new" annual passes?

Hello all,

We are going to buy the premium annual pass.

We are happy to see that the renewal rate is less than buying annual passes all over again.

My question is:

If buy a premium annual pass, and decide at the time of renewal that we only want a standard annual pass- will it be considered a new pass (Full price) or a renewal (renewal rate)?

When we bought our PAP last year I was told by the CM that the renewal could be at either level. We will be renewing to a plain AP in June so I guess we'll find out then.

When I stepped my kids passes down from full annual to seasonal annual at the renwal I paid the seasonal renwal rate.
