If I buy a 5 day park hopper with water park non expiration can I add the other 5 days sometime down the line?

Don't want to pay for the other 5 days now, maybe next year when we go.

This would save me almost $700 right now.

I believe everything you want to do with a ticket must be done within 14 days of first use and before the last day on the ticket is used.

The above is correct as far as I know. I also thought you could only do one upgrade on a ticket. Meaning if you want to add park hopping and more days, you need to do them at the same time. You couldn't add park hopping one day and then more days the next.

The 14 days starts ticking upon first use.

Upgrades are usually better off done once inside a park. Value of a ticket is calculated at current prices once a ticket is used. If you don't use a ticket, value is based on the actual cost of the ticket when it was purchased.
