How long before he appears stateside?

From Disney Parks Blog:

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit Makes His Debut at Tokyo DisneySea

Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was Walt Disney’s first animated star, appearing on screen before even Mickey Mouse. After a long absence, Oswald is back home with his Disney family and has made his official debut at Disney Parks! Arriving just in time for the spring celebrations at Tokyo Disney Resort, Oswald has found a special place to meet his fans and make new friends.

Over the years, Oswald’s adventures have taken him around the world and through a variety of occupations, from trolley conductor to lifeguard. In the Cape Cod section of American Waterfront at Tokyo DisneySea, he’s playing the role of a farmer greeting friends at his charming little produce stand, stocked with fresh eggs and flowers for the season.

Oswald considers himself one lucky rabbit to have finally made it to Disney Parks, and he’s just silly with excitement to meet everyone coming to Tokyo Disney Resort this spring!

Cool! Too bad he isn't appearing closer! DH would love a photo with Oswald.

That's really awesome. If I'm remembering correctly, didn't Duffy (the Disney Bear) get big in Tokyo before coming to WDW?
Maybe Oswald will have a similar story... Let's hope so! Unlike Duffy, Oswald is someone I'd get my picture taken with!

Yes, exactly like Oswald, Duffy began in the Cape Cod area of American Waterfront.

Nice to see Oswald in the parks. Hopefully we will see him in the US parks soon.

I grew up as a kid knowing who Oswald was because we had an 8mm silent film of Oswald. Growing up my dad shot our home movies on film, and somewhere he bought an Oswald movie, which is still among our home movie films. Every time we watched our movies we always wanted the Oswald film put on the projector to watch as well.

Oswald would fit in quite well at the entrance plaza in DCA.
