Free dinning

We are going 09/21/14 to 09/27/14 and wondering have they ever offered free dinning during the food and wine festival or should we go one week earlier

I found this info for free dining for 2013:

Free Dining is being offered to guests ARRIVING September 2 to September 25, 2013. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required and may not be booked for longer than 14 nights.

It was then extended: Free Dining is being offered to guests ARRIVING during the following dates. A minimum stay of 3 nights is required and may not be booked for longer than 14 nights.

September 29 – October 2, 2013
October 18 – November 2, 2013
November 11 – 23, 2013
December 12 – 22, 2013

Just keep in mind, this is from last year. One never knows if they will offer it this year.

When during the year do they usually announce the dates for free dining?

When I went in Sept 2012, I got Free Dining and my dates were 9/23- 9/28. I know that does not mean it will be the same but usually it has been. F&W does not cause black out dates, only weeks like Jersey Week, Thanksgiving etc...

The late summer discounts should be coming out soon end of April, beginning of May like last year. :mickey:

We've gone many years in Sept and have gotten free dining every one. I am praying that it comes around again- we're taking my parents and would love to stay at POR with them but if there is no free dining we'll have to stay at POP. Still good just not as good...:mickey:

Depends on when you're looking for free dining. Typically, anytime between March and May for September FD, and July-August for October-December FD. Who knows what will happen this year though :)

Last year the first dates announced were 9/2-9/25...as long as you arrived during that time period you were eligible for the free dining. It was announced last year the first week in May. :mickey:
