Staying a week at GF in June, ? Menu sounds nice, the place looks great!

Thought this might be a nice place for a later food and drink for the DW and I if the kids hit the pool or want some "kid time" That way we won't be far away.

Has anyone tried this place for drinks and/or food? Did you have to wait? Late June will be peak time I know...

I've never had to wait. It's a lovely, spacious lounge with plenty of seating. More relaxed for dining, not really restaurant seating but more your basic lounge snacks-- all pretty good and you can definitely make a meal of it. Some of the lounge snacks are slightly more upscale.

You can sit with views of the lagoon toward MK or toward the Poly. They dim the lighting in later hours, and there's the jazz band, or more properly Grand Floridian Society Orchestra that plays out front. It's a really wonderful little (or not so little) spot.

One of my husband's favorite Disney spots. It's a great place to relax, enjoy a drink and/or appetizers and listen to the band.
