Extra Magic Hours and Key to the World cards

I know before when there were EMH that you showed your room key to get on rides. What are they doing now, since some room keys don't exist now that the Magic Bands took over?

Since most rides/attractions have the MagicBand reader, you will simply scan your band. Green light = Good; Red light = Bad!! (Or whatever colors they light up! LOL)

We were there at EMH a couple of weeks ago and before the gates were opened someone came around with this hand held device and checked my magic band to see if I was a current resort guest.
