Dining Plan Question

If I get the basic dining plan that has one sit down, one counter and one snack, can I use the sit down for a counter instead?

I'm not sure.....but it would be a total waste of money IMO. The plan is expensive and unless you use sit down for an expensive menu item, you're throwing money away.

There have been times when you could "trade" a TS credit for a CS meal, but it isn't the norm.

The PP is correct. As soon as you start trying to trade down, you loose any value that the DDP may offer. Even if it is "free", you are paying more for other parts of your package (such as your room) that may negate the savings.
