I see I have a couple of options to choose from for dolphin swim programs in Cozumel for our upcoming cruise. Anyone do either dolphinaris or dolphin discovery in Cozumel? What were your expiriences? I see dolphinaris is 40 min vs 30 min for discovery. It is also $10 more per person. Or should we skip dolphin swim altogether (just do it sometime closer to home) and do something better?
TIA

Our family of 6 did Discovery on our Fantasy cruise June 2013. It was a great experience. The only bad info we got was that we all needed to wear water shoes, so we spent about $150 on shoes for all of us. When we got there, we were told we couldn't wear any shoes in the water.

The whole experience felt like it lasted longer than 30 minutes, but it probably was just about that. It was so much fun! We ended up buying the CD of pictures afterwards (can't remember how much it was, but it was over $100 - well worth it, but I'm a scrapbooker!)

The walk to taxi pickup felt like it took forever, but probably just because it was hot. The van was very comfortable (air conditioned very well!) When we were ready to go back, we just found our contact person and she set us up with a return ride.

There is a pool there where you can swim for awhile once you're done with the dolphins, but our kids were ready to get back to the ship (as were we). Great day, though. Would do it again!

Glad to hear it was a good expirience. If I don't hear anything more on either options (discovery or dolphinaris), I will go with discovery. I just hope it's not too cold in late March for these floridian's. ;)
