We will be at Disney in March when they will be "refurbing" the resort monorail system during the hours of 11:00 am to 7:00pm. We plan to go from Magic Kingdom to Ohana at the Poly for dinner for 6:30 pm ADR's. Since we will not be able to take the monorail, do you think it is faster to take a boat, bus or call a cab? :mickey:

Last year we had a reservation at Ohana and the monorail was down, we took the boat. Line was long but boat is the way I would go. Cab isn't worth the money IMO.

The easiest way will be to take the boat across the lagoon from the Magic Kingdom to the Polynesian.

If there is a long line for the boat, another possibility is to take the ferry from the Magic Kingdom to the Transportation & Ticket a Center and walk to the Polynesian from there.

Yep, that's the order. The resort launch is easily the fastest when going to Ohana. The launch docks directly in front of the GCH so about 3 min walk to 'Ohana.

Definitely the boat! If you use the ferry you will still have to hoof it quite a distance to get to the lobby of the Poly where Ohana's is.

They'll be running buses to the monorail resorts while it's down so if the boat line is too long that would be my second choice.

Several years ago, my daughter and I raced other family members from MK to Grand Floridian. We took the boat and beat them by at least 20 minutes - they took the monorail.
