Has anyone ever been?? Is it any good?? Are there good choices for little ones and good character interaction?? Looking for a first night dinner as we don't land in Orlando until 6:00 PM and we are staying at the Dolphin.

We got comped dinner for waiting so long to check in a couple years back. My husband didn't enjoy it, but everyone else in the party did, including 4 teens. We had plenty of photo ops with characters.

Not sure they do character dinners, but know they do character breakfast. I'm a huge character nut and that was by far the most disappointing character breakfast on the face of the planet.

Garden Grove gets terrible reviews.
Cape May at the Beach Club gets very good reviews, as does Kouzzina at the Boardwalk.

I would suggest just eating at the Fountain at the Dolphin. No reservations needed, so you won't have to worry about getting in from the airport earlier or later than expected.

We like it  My kids love the peppermint shakes. If it's a beautiful night, it's great to dine poolside at the grill.

The Fountain isn't fine dining or anything. They have burgers and sandwiches and the like. But it's relaxing and moderately priced table service. I've always been satisfied.

Agreed on the Fountain. It's not spectacular, just a casual dining place, but not bad food or prices. Fresh Mediterranean Market at the Dolphin isn't bad either but I'm not sure if they do dinner or just lunch. I think they might be just breakfast and lunch.
