I need some advice.

My husband, daughter and I have a Disney trip planned in mid January and made ADR's for every evening there. Here's the problem - my husband isn't sure if he will be able to make this trip with us and it may end up just my DD and me. Will I need to cancel my current ADRs and reschedule or just show up with 2 instead of a party of 3? If we show up without him, will we owe a $10 fee for my DH not showing up? He won't know until the beginning of the year if he'll be able to come or not and by then if we try to cancel and to reschedule I doubt I'll be able to get the ADRs that I want.:( A party of 4 going down to a party of 3 is no problem - same size table, but a party of 3 to a party of 2 would be a different table seating.

Need a little help from my Disney friends. What do I do?

No problem at all!

Book for three. If you can rebook for 2 (even numbers are usually easier to book), rebook, but if you can't don't worry at all.

You won't be charged as long as you and DD show up (well, technically as long as you OR DD show up). We've had this a couple of times, when we booked for 4, but my Mom didn't feel like coming for a big meal, so just the three of us went ... no issues and no charges.

With the new policy, I thought if someone doesn't show up then there would be a $10 'no show' charge. Is this not the case if at least some of your party shows up?

I've not heard that. I understood the new policy to charge if it's a total no show. We've never had a problem altering numbers a few one way or the other....I guess you may want to call for a concrete answer......:mickey:

Under the current policy with the charges for signature/character meals I have shown up with one less than the ADR and have not been charged.
