New to DDP - A little help for a newbie

My husband and I will be using the QS dining plan for the first time, how do we know what whats available to us. Also lets not forget those snack credits. Just a little nervous.

It will have the plans for 2013 and 2014 that you can get the information that you seek.

They will give you a brochure when you check into your hotel. It will list most of the restaurants that accept the dinning plan. Also, there is a "key" to the system.

I believe the capital "P" will be replaced with a "Q" to tell you it is quick service and an "S" for snack.

We found the cast members to be really helpful when we ordered -- helping us figure out what we could get and making sure we got our dessert. We like sweets, but we don't often have dessert at our meals. We tried to order apple pie for one dessert and ice cream for another and she told us we could have the ice cream on the pie as pie a la mode, and still order another dessert. We said how about a shake, and she said, she could count the shake as a drink. It was pretty funny. I'm not sure they are all that friendly, but we would DEFINITELY get the plan again after that experience! They are also great about telling you how many credits you have left. Enjoy!
