Haven't been to Disney in 3 years. We will have 7 in our party ages 4,2 are 15, 17, 37, 41, and 58. Going to be there Nov. 23 - 30th at the Art of Animation. Any suggestions on must see at this time of year?? All other trips have been in summer. Also, what are magic bands? And what has significantly changed since 2010 that might affect our trip?? Any advice is most appreciated. Also, this is the first trip for DD who is 4. Thanks

First there will be Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. A must do. Doses cost more from $62.00 per ticket. New Fantasyland will be new to you. Must do is Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. Wishes is better than ever. At MK a new Dumbo, Little Mermaid, enchanted Tales with Belle and more.
At Epcot the new Test Track is nothing
Like the old. New things at innoventions.
In other words there are lots of new in all the parks.
Aside from that you need to familiarize with the new Fastpass+
Magic Bands are new RFID wrist bracelets that do everything from your room key, park tickets, advanced dining reservations, dining plans, charges to your room, fastpass, counter service restaurant fastpass selections. All a part of Disneys 2 billion $ investment. Disney had been testing most of 2013 (I tested with it in Sept) (loved it)
And Art of Animation is already using the new Magic Bands.
Love AoA by the way, especially when I bring children or larger groups. Have a great time in November, probably the best time to go overall.

Last time we went, they had just rolled out the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom game. (Someone chime in if this isn't still going on.) Collect a pack of character cards each day in the MK, use the cards to play a scavenger hunt type of game around the MK, holding the cards up to "portals." Sounds silly, but people were obsessing over collecting the cards, and when you hold up combinations of 2 different characters, different things happen.

The teens in your group might enjoy this . . something new and different.
