View Full Version : Do we need a DAS for...?

I was wondering if I need a DAS for this attraction.

Both of my kids have Sensory Processing Disorder. They both will have their head phones. My daughter really wants to try the Haunted Mansion, but I'm afraid the stretch room will put her over the edge (dark, stretching walls, lightning).

Do you think I can simply ask a cast member if we can skip this room, or do we need to go through the formality of getting a DAS?

I was thinking that we may want to get the DAS cards in case we come across this situation at another attraction.

Have any of you been in this situation?

Many thanks :mickey:

You should be able to just tell the Cast Member at the entrance to the ride without a DAS and they'll accommodate if possible, but getting a DAS wouldn't be a bad idea.

Yes, you can bypass the stretching room. Just ask. You don't even need to give a reason.

Sorry been so long and with my autistic son have not been monitoring - Ron is dead on though so I will confirm - tell the person out front and they will let you bypass the room.
