With all of the changes I made already, I still needed to make some more, so while we had another snack credit breakfast at Landscape of Flavors, I made some more FP+ adjustments. Our original plans called for an early EMH at Epcot, but since we haven't been to Animal Kingdom yet, and Epcot several times already, we decide to make a very quick morning at AK and still get to Epcot in time for our lunch reservation at Chefs de France.

First is a ride on Kilimanjaro Safari. The posted wait time is 10 minutes, but we walk straight onto a truck. We had a really great ride with so many animals out. Some we haven't seen before and even those elusive mandrills which we have rarely seen are up and active. Also the driver was very talkative and stopped many times for pictures. He was really into his job, explaining in great detail. We didn't have much time here this morning, so we blazed on over to Asia to check on Everest. Again a 10 minute wait, but Matt, Emily, and Ron who rode reported another walk on. Hallie and I waited in the store. Blazing on to Dinoland, and Matt took the girls on Triceratop Spin and then it was Ron's turn to wait with Hallie while the rest of us rode Dinosaur. This is another ride that Hallie is now tall enough for, but I thought might be just a bit too scary for her. It was about 11:00 AM and it was time to skeddadle on over to Epcot and our lunch. We got to the bus stop just as a bus was pulling away, but another appeared a short time later.

Once at Epcot, we headed straight to France for lunch. Our ADR was for 12:20 and we arrived about 10-15 minutes early. Still we were seated right away. We all enjoyed our meal very much and Remy came out to make his appearance. I was scolded as being paparazzi by his handler for taking so many pictures of him. After lunch, it was just about time for Aurora to make an appearance at her gazebo, so we lined up behind 2 other families and others soon joined us. While waiting, the rains came so we all huddled under her gazebo until we were escorted to the Impressions de France theater where we were able to meet her in a nice dry environment. Luckily the rain subsided fairly quickly since we needed to head over to DHS for our FP+ time at Toy Story Mania. Again we traveled by boat to the studios.

After our visit with the Toy Story gang, it was then time for FP+ for Ron, Matt, and Emily and RNR, while Hallie and I had ones for Star Tours. After meeting by the Sorcerer's Hat, we went to The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow. This was a first for Matt, but he did not like it all that much. The rest of us think it is a cute little diversion and enjoy seeing it. Next up another little sun shower popped up so we took in a showing of One Man's Dream and when we emerged the sun was once again beaming.

We are now thinking about a QS meal for dinner. We are almost still too full to eat, but decide we probably should eat something. We've already done ABC Commissary, so that is out thankfully, but we decide on somethings from Sunset Ranch Market so we do not have to criss cross the park just for dinner. We have FP+ for Fantasmic. We enter at our appointed time and most of the the theater is filled, but once we scan our bands, we are escorted to some seats in the middle left section near the top, which is great for beating the crowds out. Before the show starts, I have a nice conversation with the lady seated next to me about our Magic Bands. She had tons of questions since she is a frequent visitor, but her resort was not participating in the testing at this time. As reported, the steamboat did not make an appearance and only a handful of characters could be seen waving from the stage. Being so close to the top, we were indeed able to get out of there in front of the masses and make a beeline for the bus. We were lucky to find a short line at our stop, and a bus pulling right in.

Once back at the resort, Ron grabbed us some beverages while the rest of got ready for a dip in The Big Blue Pool. The kids got a kick out of the underwater music. Hallie who does not like to go all the way under even did a few times just to hear the music. Also she loved the zero entry side which mad it easier for her to swim around by herself while I sat next to her. Then it was back to the room, showers, and off to bed.

Part VIII coming soon!

Wonderful trip so far! Wondering if the FP+ option will do away with the fantasmic dinner package. We've used this option many times in the past... but I wonder if it will be needed with the FP+ option??

Our family of six, two teens and two under 6, stayed at AoA last October. We really enjoyed the resort. And with two teens... that second bathroom was priceless! :D

Can't wait to read more!
