Room key question

Sorry if this is a silly question, was wondering how the RFID cards work in this situation. In nov. we are traveling with my parents and sister, all staying at POR but not adjoining rooms. If we send the baby back with them on occasion how would they be able to get into our room? Don't our key cards need to stay with us so we can continue enjoying the parks and fp, etc. can I ask for an extra key at checkin to give to them?

You should be able to ask for an extra key. My brother got an extra key for us one year when we took his little boy while he and my sister-in-law enjoyed an evening out.
