January Marathon

Does the Marathon bring in huge crowds? Also, do the runners tend to visit the parks before the race dates, or do they tend to linger after?

I believe the January marathon is at full capacity. This event does tend to increase the crowds and yes, runner and their families, do go to the parks in the days before and after the race(s).
