Monorail Direction

This is a silly question. But someone asked me which way the monorail travels. I'm racking my brain! I have ridden it and seen it travel so many times! But the minute someone asked me, my mind went blank! So when you board at Downtown Disney, do you head up and do the nice scenic route into Disneyland to stop at tomorrowland, then continue over California Adventure through the Grand Californian and to Downtown Disney? Or am I backwards?

You're correct. You travel above DCA and through the GCH on your way into the Downtown Disney Station.
