What rooms to request at BLT Standard View?

So I want to try and get the best view I can get while staying at BLT in a few weeks. I have never requesting specific rooms before, but I know disney will do their best to honor requests.

I am staying in a standard view 1 bedroom room for 8 nights. Are there any specific rooms that people have stayed in that they liked. I know not all standard view rooms are creeated equal and some definitely have better views than others.

I'd try to stay away from requesting specific rooms. The more specific your request, the greater the chance it won't be granted. The more general your request, the more likely it is to be granted.

I would request upper floor, north side. That's the side nearest MK, also has a good woodsy lake view.
