Wish we were heading down there this year:( but alas not in the cards.

I thought this might be the year Disney started to pull back on free dining. I do see however that the dates are a lot more limited than last year. We flew down last year the day after Thanksgiving, which was the start of the free dining period. Seems kind of odd that they are blacking out that 3 week period. I can understand Thanksgiving I guess, but is it because of Pop Warner?

Also surprised to see POFQ excluded. Not sure I've ever seen a moderate specifically excluded. No availability yet, excluded no.

I have tried several days to get FD at POR...I started calling on Aug. 1st at 7 and it was all booked up by 8 when I finally got through...I have called several times since...after calling early this morning, I was told that more rooms may become available by my check-in date and for me to try back...i just wonder when will the new rooms be added?

Unfortunately, You can never tell when a room will become available at a specific resort.

We are annual passholders but had to buy the two day tickets to get free dining. Since I won't need them to get into the park during our stay, could someone else use them?
