We are planning a breakfast at Kona Café, and we're thinking park at TTC then walk over to eat, then we can really monorail or bus to wherever we decide to go for the day.

Anyway...is it possible to walk from our parking spot, or would be easier and less hassle to take the tram to the front of the lot and walk over? I know that parking lot is enormous, but if it is possible to avoid a tram ride...

It is possible. There is a walkway directly to the Poly in the NW (front left walking to the TTC) corner of the parking lot. Many CMs use this.

The practicality is the real issue because it will depend entirely on where you are parked. If you are in the front lot but extremes NE corner it can be easier to walk in to the TTC and then take that walkway in. If you are anywhere back a few rows or not in the first section of the parking lot then the tram is easily the best solution.

You can see the walkways on satellite views of Google maps or google earth.

Although the walk from the Poly to/from the TTC is really easy, since you have a car, it might just be easier to park at the Poly, and then drive to where you're heading for the day, instead of having to get back to the TTC at the end of the day.

But, if you do walk, it is a bit of the luck of the draw as to if you'll need to take the tram.

We will probably do that unless we choose MK or EPCOT. Just was curious, never hurts to have extra information

Not only can you walk from the TTC parking lot to the Poly, if you are there early enough, you will have no choice. I don't think the trams start running until the closest lots are filled.
