shorts vs pants at night time?

This might seem a bit random, but I am curious what it is like in Florida at night time. Should we bring "short pajamas" for our kids in the evening, or "pant ones?" We leave in a week...it seems like it is really hot there, even at night...but I am wondering after being there in the hot sun all day, if the night feels cool even though it is still really hot! (My boys are 2 & 3) if that helps?;)

I think after a day in the sun and with AC running, it will feel much cooler at night when in the room. I think the short pants pajamas would be fine, but I don't think a thin pair of long pants pajamas would be overkill either.

It will still feel hot enough for short pjs unless you keep your room really cold. My children generally only wear long pjs from Nov to Feb.

Thin long PJ pants, ok. Otherwise, stick with shorts, there's always a blanket
