We were looking at dates in December and got a pin code in the mail this past week for free dining. It works for most days EXCEPT the time we wanted to go. So, did they not offer it during this time because they're already heavily booked? Since they didn't offer free dining during this time are the chances of a room discount out too? We don't want to go when it's crazy busy. What are your thoughts?

What are the black out dates?

December varies from some of the lowest crowds (early in the month) to some of the highest crowds (After Christmas to New Years) of the year.

December 5 - 14 are not included.

You are blessed to have recieved the pin code..we keep watching the mail(s) for it with no luck. As of right now we are booked to arrive on Dec 4th so that if FD goes to the gp on the same dates as the pin is listing we can get in on that. We tried to move our bb offer over to Dec and even the 4th was blocked out so I am not sure a room discount will come out. We haven't bought our flights yet so that if we can we can move our trip to take advantage of a discount...praying one comes out since we seem to be out of the 'pin loop".

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO We are going that week...........will the parks be super busy?

We went during Pop Warner week a few years ago and you really don't see them in the parks until later in the day. They have competitions early morning. We stayed at All Stars Movies one year and didn't even see them at all and we stayed at POR-Riverside and saw them there. The only thing that I noticed that was annoying is these people are in a big group, so when getting on a bus...they all want to ride together, so they fill up fast. The first week of dec is still a great time to go...Pop Warner week or not
