I just got a paperwhite a couple of months ago. I am wondering if you leave your kindle in sleep mode with the screensaver on it when not in use? Even if it is a couple of days between use? or do you shut it completely off?
I have been shutting it completely off, but I am not really sure that is how it is supposed to be used. I am worried about wrecking the screen with just having it in sleep mode because the image does not move - could it burn the image into the screen??
I tried to ask their customer service, but I got a very cryptic answer that I didn't understand.
Thanks for your help!!

I never turn mine off. It just sleeps. I charge it every few weeks or more if I'm reading a lot.

Thanks! I think I will do the same. I think turning it off all the time is draining the battery faster than it would if I just left it in sleep mode.
