8-day from Galveston question

I know that when they offered the kids sail free discount this past fall for spring dates, a WDW one-day park hopper was included with transportation to and from the parks on the day the ship was docked in Port Canaveral. My question is...Were the tickets/transportation only offered as part of the promotion or is this included on every 8-day cruise out of Galveston? Looking to take this cruise spring of 2014.

We did not participate in the promotion and received passes with our cruise purchase. I believe all cruises that stop at port canaveral as a port will get the pass and transportation.
