Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Ride

I heard the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride would be opening in 2014. Does anyone know when it's schedules to open? Spring, Summer, Fall. I'd like to plan a trip, but don't want to go before it opens. I know Disney time line aren't always exact, jut trying to get a round about time for when it will hopefully be open.

If you want to be safe, book for Fall/Winter 2014. I think Disney probably wants the ride open by summer, but who knows what kinds of delays or setbacks they might encounter?

We are planning a trip for F&W Festival in Fall, 2014, so I hope it is open by then!

It's not out of the question. Currently they're a little ahead of schedule, but the part of the projects where most delays hit is just around the corner. So, don't count out the idea completely, but don't plan on it either.

Strmchsr - What do you think the chances are for Mid to late May of 14' ? We're holding off our next trip till then in anticipation of the completion of Fantasyland.

From what my friends involved on the project have told me I'd say better than average chances it would be open by then. They won't be able to say 100% until some of the detail work gets done on the ride operation system and that should be happening late summer and early fall, but I think there's a very good chance it will be open by May.

We're hoping it will be open in January also. We've got alot of friends and family coming down for our daughters wedding in January.

Ang, when in January are you going? We'll be there the 19th thru 26th staying at BLT.

Just got back from the World and the ride looks to be pretty impressive and should be the centerpiece of the new area when done. And all signage says 2014 but nothing more specific than that. :thumbsup:
