First two weeks in April

My wife and I love visiting in May, but we're heading down in April this year and I was wondering what the crowds will be like the first two weeks. Also, what are some of the best things about visiting at this time?

Best thing is the beauty of the F&GF.

As for crowds - the first week will be insane since it's the week following Easter. The second week will still be crowded but not as bad.

:ditto: We've gone the week after Easter twice and it's very crowded. However, if you plan right, it is manageable. Your second week will be less crowded though and the F&GF is very pretty. I particularly loved the butterflies.
