Are there 2 different restaurants at the Japan Pavillion in Epcot? Do they both participate in the Disney Dining Plan? Can you get Sushi on the plan? Thanks for your input.

Yes there are two restaurants there. Teppan Edo and Tokyo Dining and they do accept some dining plans. You can get Sushi at Tokyo Dining as Teppan Edo is an Hibachi type grill.

You can check on the WDW web site under dining and get more information on each of the restaurants.

We love dining at Teppan Edo.

Hope this helps...:mickey:

Teppan does in fact have sushi on the appetizer menu, which is not included in the dinning plan. You would have to pay extra for that. So Tokyo dinning is probably the way to go.

Teppan accepts the dinning plan as we were there in December and the family we were seated with had it.

Never ate at Tokyo dinning but have heard its great, planning on trying it next trip.

Tokyo Dining has pretty much the same menu options, they are just brought to you, rather than cooked in front of you Benihana style...

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want a bit of a show, Teppan. If you want a nice quiet meal, Tokyo. The food is excellent on both sides.
