Y'all may have been asked this question before, but the answers I found from searching are a few years old and I didn't know if anything has changed. And Google is not being any help either.

If we'll be only 10 points shy of the vacation we want (and, yes, that's after borrowing from the following year), what are our options?

Pay cash for the difference? Buy 10 points?

If you are within 7 months you can purchase one time use points directly from Disney. I believe they are 15$ per point. I purchased 9 points when I came up short. It was really easy! and cheaper than booking one night for cash ( which I have also done) :mickey:

The 7 months part is tricky, as we're wanting to book at our home resort sooner than that...
