Just curious on average what does everyone pay round trip to fly into MCO. Prices are up since we last flew 2 years ago. I found out of BWI on Airtran of $204. So times 4 of us is $816. I'd like to fly SW but they are close to $1000 for all of us. I'm use to paying under $200 roundtrip but I guess those days are gone unless I fly midweek but we made resort ressies Friday May 31-Sunday June 9.
Thanks!!

Depends on timing, but most years I pay between $225 and $325 round trip from Minneapolis/St Paul.

Just got $189 each round trip from Hartford on Southwest, Wednesday-Wednesday though that probably made a difference

$204 from BWI is a great rate. I pay about $225 now out of RDU. Will be driving down a lot more at those rates.

We had decided to drive down later this month, but I kept getting sale emails from Southwest. We decided that if the price of flying ever got down under $1000 for the 6 of us, we'd fly instead. Finally got a pretty good deal - $805 - last month. That's not bad. We usually fly Allegiant for less than that, but there are 2 drawbacks: (1) our dates almost never line up with their flight times (2) They fly into Sanford, which is further from WDW. Southwest flies direct from here to MCO, so we bit and are flying in 17 days!

If we were to fly SWA in early Sept of this year it would be about $900 from STL round trip.

I have paid as little as $400 round trip to the two of us on SWA.

With the cost of fuel today I can do a lot of driving for that amount. I can drive round trip for about $190. Even though flying is about 2 hrs as compared to 17 hrs straight driving...

out of La Guardia I'm not yet seeing under $400 per person for late August for the flight times I want. Will only do non-stop. We always leave on a Saturday morning flight leaving between 7-10am and return on a flight that leaves about 2-3pm the following Sunday. I'd certainly like to get it under $300 as there are 4 of us.

Iowa, mine run $500 or more. SW bought Air tran and pulled out of smaller airports.

$220 round trip in July aboard SWA. I used to pay $320 with Delta Express in the 90's, so it's still a bargain to me.

Sure, I've also done $59 each way a few years back, but those days are long gone. It'll probably take another 9/11 or something to hit those prices again, but I doubt that would even pay for the gas these days.

In December we traveled to Fort Lauderdale from BWI with a layover in Orlando on a Friday morning. Using Southwest on the way down we paid about $60 before taxes and fees but of course the flight was super early in the morning. Coming back we used Airtran because it was cheaper and had a non stop flight that cost about $100 bucks. But it was a late night flight and after paying for seating and stuff like that it probably wasn't less that $200 for the round trip.

From Calgary (YYC), figure on anywhere from $450 to $900 return depending on the airline.

Beats driving!

SWA is expensive out of ALB - but last year I got a discount through email, and paid $597 for 3 of us - which is typically over $1000

I bought tickets from Houston to MCO for $377 in December on United. The price dropped to $288 about 3 weeks ago. I called United and they refunded me the difference! More :mickey: cash.

We pay around $325 on average. Below that is good and above that is bad. I've paid as low as $240 back in 2008. Since then, it's gone steadily up. Last trip we paid $380 on Southwest. I recently checked prices to see if there's even a possibility - there isn't. It's nearly $500/ticket right now, which is just insane. You can blame either speculators or the president - it all depends on who's in office at the time of the complaint, right? Either way, someone's in the way of my next WDW vacation, and they're gonna have to pay

We generally fly out of EWR, PHL, or ABE, depending on fares. A couple of years ago, we were able to snag some r/t fares for $140 on Airtran, but that ended when Southwest bought them out and backed out of the small airports. Now, I generally am happy to find anything about $220 or less, and generally will not go if I have to pay more. And the prices have been running $300+. Luckily, we're headed down in a few weeks, and we were able to get just under $200 r/t on Jetblue out of EWR. I was thrilled with that price...especially since I don't have to add in the extra money for checked bags.

Last couple of years Chicago Midway to MCO on Southwest has been around $325 during the summer. Was actually floored when my INTERCOT 15 year anniversary trip cost $445 on Southwest - booked wayyyy early, too & that was the cheapest I could find!

i have two airlines that fly direct to MCO.

Thankfully both are ones I like to use. Southwest and JetBlue both get me there for around $200-300 round trip per person. Jetblue uses newer aircraft, which means they can fly further over the ocean, and cuts 30 min easy out of the trip time. They also are generally nicer to fly so I pick them, but am happy with either.

I wouldnt fly american for free!

From MKE to MCO every August, we have been able to keep it below 250 each for 4 people, not this year though.. Still holding out for a good rate.

Been able to get tickets out of BWI or Philly for around $200 roundtrip if I wait for a special.

I was able to get one way tickets out of Philly for $60 one way - it was a 24 hour sale and travel dates were just for a 3 week time period after Christmas. Grabbed those up last October and haven't seen another price that low since.
