Due to the fire code and room size, do moderates and values allow a roll-away bed?

The moderate resorts do not allow roll away beds. All but Alligator Bayou allow 5 in a room

Some the Alligator Bayou have a trundle bed intended for a child.

You can get pack and plays for infants in all of the resort rooms.

Hope this helps....:mickey:

Rollaway beds do exist at the Moderates, but you can only request one for a king bed room.

They are not even available at the Values. The rooms are WAY too small to put one anywhere in there.

My friend got a roll out at POR in the mansion section...it was offered in lieu of the trundle at AB. Very tight fit...had to pull it up each morning in order for 5 people to use the room

Thank you for your input. We thought about splitting our stay and revisiting one of the moderates, but with two teenagers (boy and girl), it sounds like it will be just too cramped staying at a moderate and sleeping in full-size beds. I believe CS has 2 queens, but it isn't our favorite moderate. It is still an option though.

FYI, the moderates except for Caribbean Beach now have QUEEN sized beds, not full sized.

This is what will make a rollaway impossible in most of the moderate rooms. There simply isn't space now, except at Caribbean Beach.

In your situation, you might consider two value resort rooms, or a room at a deluxe that has a daybed in it.

CBR is the moderate we were wanting to revisit before we transfer to YC since the kids don't remember staying there. So you are saying that CBR will allow a roll-away?

We had one at CBR this past August. You can still only have 4 people in the room though unless one is a baby ( or whatever the age is) The kids just didn't want to sleep in the same bed; so the roll-away solved our problem. It is first come/first served basis and there is a cost......

PS. We were able to fit it in between the two full beds.

As of last you you could have a fold up bed.
We have had one every year since 2005. To be honest, they are actually very comfortable.

Thank you for all the input. There are just four of us, so that would work out.

We had a cot at All star movies this January with no problem and always have one at CSR when we travel with our grown up son. We were surprised at how well the cot fit in the All Star room!
