Dining Ressies via IPO or yourself???

When staying CL, do you make your own dining ressies or ask IPO to take care of it?

Does IPO have a better chance of getting a ressie for hard to get restaurants/times?

It really is a total toss up. We've stayed at the Poly, GF and BC club levels, and sometimes we get all of our requests, but sometimes we don't. I have had the best luck booking the ADRs I REALLY want myself and then having IPO do the ones that I know that I can probably still get if I miss the 180 mark. They don't seem to have better access than we do to the system, with the exception of securing a last minute ADR if someone cancels. For some reason, I think they have a slight bit of pull when that happens. I had them change a couple of my ADRs at the last minute for me on my New Year's trip (when we were already at the resort), and that worked out well. Bottom line: if you want a hard to get ADR (like BOG, CRT, etc.), book it yourself!
