I thought some of you might find it interesting to look at the attractions from an architectural point of view. The show buildings for POTC and HM still amaze me to this day with their ability to create the illusion of much larger spaces. I tried to do the thing where you can transform a link into text, but it would not work on these boards, so I had to put each link individually, sorry

Enjoy!

Wow, this is awesome! The Pirates of the Caribbean one was my favorite, I think! I found myself tracing the way along the boat path- I was always curious where the boats went once passengers got off, but I didn't realize it was so close to the loading dock! Super neat! :pirate:

As an architect, I LOVE this. thanks so much. one of the partners in my firm is a disney fan as well, and we have been going over these all day. Looking at boring drawings all day gets redundant. So this has been an awesome morning. the attention to detail is pretty awesome.

I found an architcture drawing from the castle once, and was able to get Marty Skylar and Roy Disney to sign it, along w/ (and i'm sorry i can't think of their names now), the voice of Mickey and Donald and have that framed and hanging in my office.

thanks so much.

Very interesting. Thanks for posting.
If you look at MK on Google earth, or other satellite viewer you can see that the show building are basically large warehouse type structures with much smaller facades. The designers really did an amazingly good job in the parks with screening the view of the non-themed portions of the show buildings form the guest areas/walkways at ground level. But Seeing the parks from above kinda destroys some of the illusion.

I'm a blueprint fan too.. I love to see how things go together.

Also, were you trying to do this? Peter Pan (http://i1283.photobucket.com/albums/a552/Ryan_Towle/PeterPansFlight_zps2cd48b5a.jpg)

If so you use this code without the red question mark [?url=add link here]Peter Pan[/url]

Anything significant about 8/25/05? All have that date on them except Jungle Cruise (4/25/11) and Great Movie Ride (8/27/05).:mickey:
