Hearing Impaired Guest

This February will be my husband's 1st Disney trip and we are so excited. He is hearing impaired and I wondered if anyone had had experience with the different devices WDW offers for hearing impaired guests. There are several options and I wondered which was better. Any insight?? Thanks!

I haven't hard personal experience with any of the devices, but I know my friends who have never said anything bad about any of the options. They've always said Disney is very good for hearing impaired. I think several of them liked bringing a mirror into the shows so they could read the closed captioning. That was a very unobtrusive way of getting what was going on.
