Today we are heading for DHS, all of us that is except for Matt. He will head to AK this morning and then meet up with us later. We are not up quite as early as yesterday and once again grab a bite to eat at the food court.

While Matt was out on his own, he rode the safari 2x, Everest 2x, and Dinosaur once. He then hopped over to MK where he rode Space Mt, Splash Mt, Peoplemover, and Pirates, then generally just walked around until he went back to the resort to freshen up.

As for us, we made it to DHS just after opening. We immediately got fast passes for Toy Story Mania then saw The Legend of Jack Sparrow which we enjoyed, although a little hard on the knees standing in one spot for so long. Next we were able to walk straight onto GMR, followed by a 10 minute wait at Star Tours although the posted time was 20 minutes. This was Courtney's favorite version so far. A showing of Muppetvision was next on our agenda, and then it was time for our fast passes at TSM.

We moved on over to check the wait for ToT and RnR. It was a 30 minute wait at ToT and RnR was longer, so we grabbed some fast passes for ToT and decided to duck in at the last minute to see Beauty & The Beast as it was just starting. I have not seen this out of protest since Four For a Dollar were dismissed, but Emily was begging to see it again. Since we had missed a minute or two, I just pretended as though we had "missed" them and pressed on into the performance. After the show, we waited the 5 min until our window for ToT opened and we rode, all except Ron.

We were now feeling a bit hungry now, but did not really want to have lunch at the studios, so we decided to head to DTD for some lunch and a little shopping for those back home. An OKW bus was waiting so we hopped on that. Our bus driver told us to get off at the first stop and wait for a bus to DTD. Well we waited, and waited, AND WAITED! We watched several other buses come and go as well as several boats to DTD. We decided to walk around and see if another boat would come, it did not, so we finally caught a bus in front of the main building. We were starving and all a bit cranky by now. We arrived in DTD and had settled on Wolfgang Puck's Express since Jason would be picking up Courtney tomorrow as we would be heading home and she would be flying out a few days after that. Jason and Courtney would be eating at our favorite Earl of Sandwich, so we didn't want to make her eat there twice in a row. The wait for Wolfgang Puck's did not appear to be long, but in reality we waited quite a while to get to order. While waiting for our food to be served, we were surprised by one of Courtney and Jason's friends from school. He was on his way home to Tampa but had some time to kill before he was scheduled to arrive so he had stopped at DTD to walk around and take in a movie. While we were chatting, our food arrived, so we said goodbye to Paul. Lunch was good, and we devoured it in no time flat!

Moving on we checked out Trends, took a brief walk through Once Upon a Toy, then did most of our shopping at World of Disney. On the way back to the bus, we stopped for a free sample of Ghiradelli's Peppermint Bark, and thought briefly about a little dessert there as well, but thought better of it as we didn't want to be too full for our dinner reservation later. Back at the resort we enjoyed a short rest before freshening up for our evening activities. Matt was already back at the room when we arrived.

When we were all ready to go, we headed back over to the Studios, stopping first to ride Star Tours once again as Matt had not experienced this with us earlier this am. Next we caught the last half of a performance by Mulch, Sweat, and Shears before the Osborne lights were illuminated. I just love seeing those, they really put me in the Christmas Spirit! We took our time snapping photos and watching them dance before heading back out. After our long wait for a bus at OKW this afternoon, I decided to give us plenty of time to get to our ADR at 'ohana. No worries though, as there happened to be a bus waiting and we arrived at the Poly after a stop at the Contemporary, in practically no time flat. We still had plenty of time, so checked out the shop on the lower level and then we called Ron's Mom to wish her a happy birthday. By the time all the kids had their turn,it was time to go upstairs and check in. Still we had to wait a bit past our ADR time. Our dinner was superb as usual. Our server was a little forgetful, but very pleasant so it really wasn't an issue. We had such a great time as a whole! We spent much of the dinner reminiscent of lots of silly times past at WDW, so we were giggling and grinning like Cheshire Cats throughout.. I know my cheeks hurt from all the laughing we did. Also they made a big fuss over our celebrations! Emily of course loved every minute of the birthday attention, while Courtney gets a bit more embarrassed by that kind of attention, but it was all good! We then took the monorail to MK and then a bus back to the resort. Unfortunately, our Magical Express bus would be picking us up at 6:15 the next morning, so we had a lot of packing to do!

Part 6 will come soon!

Mostly good day, Heather. The wait for the bus to Downtown Disney must've been frustrating but you finally made it. Any frustration you had there, certainly with made up by the wonderful dinner you have that evening.

Another great day. We took time to really watch Mulch, Sweat, and Shears on our last trip because they were performing at park closing and we had time to just sit and watch. They are very entertaining.

Love those evening dinners at O'hana. Listening to you describe it with the laughter brings back some great experiences we had there as well. Always a must do for our family. Thanks for the report.
